Description

On January 24, 2010, Chinese Ambassador to Sudan Li Chengwen signed a pledge that China would donate hundreds of computers, printers, televisions and other office equipment to support the Sudanese national elections in April of that year. On March 26, 2010, the supplies were delivered to Khartoum International Airport. On April 1, Ambassador Li Chengwen and Vice Chairman of the Sudanese National Election Commission Abdullah Ahmed signed a certificate officially handing them over to Sudan. The value of the equipment is unknown. This project is linked to #2451, a grant of USD 3 million also to assist Sudan's national elections.
