Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2011, Liaoning International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group won a contract to donate medical equipment and supplies to Cabo Verde. The supplies were financed through a grant from the Chinese government. On August 3, 2012, China officially handed over this equipment worth 135 million CVE to the intensive care unit in Agostinho Neto Hospital (HAN or Praia Central Hospital). The donation is a product of the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Africa.
