Project narrative

On January 31, 2018, Zhang Jianguo, the Chinese ambassador to Mauritania, visited the drought-affected Matamarani area in Mauritania and donated 20 tons of livestock feed. The livestock feed went to farmers whose herds were jeopardized by the drought. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
