Project narrative

In January 2017, China signed a convention with Comoros for the 9th technical assistance phase of the Comoros Radio and Television Center. The support is said to be valued at 900 million Comoros Francs (as reported by multiple news sources and specifically http://french.china.org.cn/foreign/txt/2017-01/21/content_40151356.htm). The inspections for this 9th technical assistance phase were implemented on July 22, 2017. The Radio and Television Center was constructed in the early 2000s with help from Chinese finance (Record ID#395). There is no indication as to what kind of assistance will be provided with the funds.
