Description

On April 17, 2017, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) Vice President Wang Enge visited Mauritania, and signed an MOU for the construction of a new West Africa Regional Office of Sino-Africa Joint Research Center (SAJOREC) (中-非联合研究中心西非区域办公室). According to Chinese Academy of Science, the West Africa Regional Office was already established in Nouakchott, capital of Mauritania. The initiative would establish a new research space for CAS researchers and West African researchers to collaborate.
