Project narrative

On 20 July 2016, the Chinese ambassador to Zambia officially handed over vocational training supplies to Zambia's Secretary of the Ministry of Education. The value of this donation is unknown. They were donated under the framework of the Fifth Ministerial Meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). All 26 of Zambia's technical education, vocational and entrepreneurship training (TEVET) institutions were gifted new office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, projectors, and screens. Lusaka Business and Technical College (LBTC), Livingstone Institute of Engineering and Business Studies (LIBES), Northern Technical College (NORTEC), and Kabwe Institute of Technology (KIT) received automotive engineering training equipment. Mansa, Lukashya, Choma and Chipata Trades Training Institutes got electrical engineering equipment.
