Project narrative

On April 3, 2012, three Chinese companies assisted Rwandan national police officers after a building collapsed, trapping some construction workers. Three Chinese companies took part in rescue work with cranes and excavators. An eyewitness identified the companies involved as the China Road and Bridge Corporation, the China Geo-engineering Corporation, and Beijing Construction and Engineering Group.
