Project narrative

On June 18, 2007, a handover ceremony was held in Bujumbura for a donation from the Chinese Government to the Government Burundi for flood relief activities. The monetary value of this grant agreement is unknown. The proceeds from the grant were earmarked for use by the Government of Burundi’s Ministry of National Stability and Human Rights to help children who became homeless as a result of exposure to natural disasters (i.e. floods) that occurred in 2006 and 2007.
