Project narrative

In April 2018, 7 Chinese agricultural experts were sent to Burundi. Since 2009, China has sent teams of experts to provide technical assistance. This is the 4th team of experts. The experts have expertise in the fields of rice, soil and fertilizer, fruits and vegetables, livestock, agricultural products processing, agricultural machinery, and fisheries. In the Ninga Village, the experts grew rice over 48 hectares of land for a crop demonstration 1,000 farmers from more than 130 households participated.
