Project narrative

On February 1, 2018, the Chinese government donated medical equipment and other supplies worth 129 million Kwacha to Kamuzu Central Hospital and Mzuzu Central Hospital. The ceremony was held at the Malawi Ministry of Health, with Ambassador Shi Ting Wang, Minister of Health Atupule Muluzi, and Deputy Inspector Of the Shaanxi Provincial Health and Planning Commission Han Rongchao attending the ceremony and delivering speeches. The delegation of the Shaanxi Provincial Health and Planning Commission along with members of the current medical team, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and representatives of public hospitals participated. During the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Wang said the Chinese Government donates to Kamuzu Central and Mzuzu Central Hospitals annually.
