Project narrative

On May 31, 2017, the Chinese embassy held a ceremony to donate equipment to the Malawi National Adult Education Center. Donations included bicycles, coffee shellers, and other equipment. The value of this donation is unknown. More than 100 people attended the donation ceremony, including Ambassador Wang, Cecilia Chazama, Minister of Education, Culture and Community Development of Malawi, Ivy Luhanga, and representatives of beneficiary rural teachers and farmers. The bicycles are intended to help alleviate the transportation problems faced by rural teachers in some remote areas, and the coffee shelling machine should help local villagers to increase their added value and improve the livelihood of farmers.
