Project narrative

On February 27, 2008 and March 4, 2008, the Chinese Government and the Government of Botswana signed an exchange of notes regarding the Botswana Botanical Garden Project. The Chinese Government reportedly committed somewhere between P30 and P35 million in grant funding for this project. As of February 2010, the botanical gardens had still not been constructed, with their locations had not yet been decided. According to baike.com, the project is under construction.
