Project narrative

In 2007, the Government of China provided a 21,538,460 USD grant for the Rehabilitation of Nairobi Roads and Street Lighting Project. Construction started in August 2007. As of April 27, 2015, 275 city streets were completed and 508 streets were under implementation. The initial phase of the Nairobi Street Lighting Project was expected to be completed by the end of May 2015.
