On November 21, 2017, an unveiling ceremony was held for the Malawi Research and Teaching Base of Peking University School of Public Health. The establishment of this public health campus was co-financed by the Malawi Participatory Rural Development Organisation (PRDO) and by Peking University School of Public Health. The commitment date of the project is unclear.
