Project narrative

At some point prior to 2018, Chinese government funded the rehabilitation of the Congolese National Library in Democratic Republic of Congo. The commitment date is unclear, but the project was completed on August 8, 2018. Wang Tongqing, the Chinese Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Mattia, Minister of Culture of the Congo, attended the completion ceremony. The amount of the funding is unknown.
