A total of more than 100 people including Ambassador Lin Songtian and his wife, South Africa’s Ministry of Higher Education representative Jepi Director, representatives of South African students attended the ceremony. Before this ceremony, the students had participated in three days of pre-departure training in Johannesburg. The total cost of the scholarships offered and the amount of time the students would spend in China is unknown.
