Project narrative

On October 26, 2015, the Chinese Government provided a $1,254,928.17 grant to the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo for the People's Palace and the Martyrs Stadium Technical Cooperation Project. According to the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Aid Management Platform (AMP), this project commenced on October 26, 2015 and ended on October 25, 2017. The AMP also indicates that $1,216,631.28 was ultimately disbursed in support of this project.
