Project narrative

On December 15, 2015, Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan Ma Qiang signed a memorandum of understanding pledging to send China's fourth medical team to South Sudan. The team arrived in South Sudan on March 28, 2016. From January 23 to 26, 2017, they went to see patients in Yei, Yapa, Rumbek, Torit, and Yirol. From March 14 to March 23, 2017 the team traveled to the cities of Kaujok and Wau to attend over 5,000 patients. The 4th medical team consists of 15 people from Anhui Province. On May 3, 2017, the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan held a ceremony to send off the 4th medical team and welcome the 5th team. This project is completed.
