Full Description

Project narrative

On May 3, 2018, the 6th Chinese medical team consisting of 15 doctors from Anhui Province arrived in South Sudan. As of the end of March 2019, the team had treated 5,784 patients with outpatient procedures and 1,159 with inpatient procedures, including saving the lives of 538 critically ill patients. On May 4, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan held a ceremony officially sending off the sixth medical team and welcoming the seventh.
