Description

A report from the Office for Coordination and Monitoring of the Sino-Congolese Program (BCPSC) in 2013 stated that a contract for the construction of transmission lines and other electricity (5 lots) in Democratic Republic of Congo will be negotiated by Chinese companies SinoHydro and CREC and funded by the China Eximbank. Subsequent ACGT Reports on the Sino-Congolese Program do not list the project as a subproject of the program. The French project name is construction des lignes de transport d'electricite et autres (5 lots).

Additional details

AidData codes the status as pledge for now as it is uncertain whether any Chinese financing was committed since the 2013 BCPSC report.
