Chinese Government provides grant for Sino-Congolese Friendship Hospital Access Road Rehabilitation Project (Linked to Record ID#30201)

In 2016, the Chinese Government provided a grant to the Republic of Congo for the Sino-Congolese Friendship Hospital Access Road Rehabilitation Project. The monetary value of this grant commitment is unknown. The project involved the rehabilitation of an access road that leads to the Sino-Congolese Friendship Hospital (or Hôpital d'amitié sino-congolaise de M’Filou or l'Hôpital de base de Mfilou or 中刚友好医院) in M’Filou, which is located in the 7th arrondissement of the capital city of Brazzaville. China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. (CSCEC) was the contractor responsible for project implementation. On December 21, 2016, a project completion ceremony took place. In 2009, the Chinese Government also provided an RMB 70 million grant for the construction of this hospital (captured in Record ID#30201).
