In 2002, the Chinese government granted RMB 4,689,266 (approximately DJF 100,000,004) to the Government Djibouti for acquiring road equipment. Disbursements were supposed to being in January 2003. It is unclear whether these funds were ever disbursed or whether the equipment was ever delivered.
