In 2003, the Chinese government provided an RMB 1,070,000 grant to the Government of Djibouti for installing technical equipment in El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon Stadium (or Stade H Gouled). According to a document from the Djibouti Ministry of Finance (source ID 70690), disbursements began in June 2003 and, as of 2005, 94% of the grant had been drawn down equal to RMB 1,003,503.
