Project narrative

In 2007, the Chinese government granted 12 million DJF to the Government of Djibouti for the construction of an administrative annex building at the Djiboutian Presidential Palace (in French: un bâtiment annexe administratif de la Présidence). On 13 November 2007, a Chinese embassy official and Djibouti Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation signed a supplementary design contract for this small office building of the Presidential Palace of Djibouti. The project was designed by China Building Technique Group Co., Ltd. and constructed by Xinjiang International Economic Cooperation Corporation. Construction began on 5 April 2007 and then and handed over to Djibouti authorities on 27 February 2008.
