Full Description

Project narrative

On 1 June 2011, the Chinese government held a handover ceremony to donate vehicles and office supplies to the Djibouti Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Chinese Ambassador to Djibouti, Zhang Guoqing, and Djibouti's Minister of International Cooperation, Minister Ahmad Ali Silai, attended the ceremony and signed the transfer certificate of the donation on behalf of both governments. According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the supplies included a pickup truck, a bus, and office supplies such as computers and printers. The value of this donation is unknown.
