Project narrative

In 2016, Mpande Limestone Ltd. — a subsidiary of Chinese state-owned Sinoma Cement Co., Ltd. and project company that was created to design, finance, and implement China Development Bank-financed Sinoma Zambia Building Materials Industrial Park Project in Zambia (#72642) — spent a total of $1.21 million USD for the Nachitete Primary School and Hospital Construction Project. The school cost $410,000 USD (#85243) and the hospital cost $800,000 USD. The hospital can hold 3,000 patients. Mpande Limestone Ltd. was responsible for project implementation. Construction started on September 1, 2016, and ended on February 1, 2017.
