Project narrative

On 27 August and 13 September 2006, Chinese and Djibouti government officials signed an Exchange of Letters agreement in which China committed to donating anti-malaria drugs to Djibouti. On December 5, 2007, the handover ceremony for the anti-malarial drug project was held at the Djibouti Ministry of Health's Drug Procurement Center. The handover certificate was signed by the Chinese Ambassador Wang Xiaodu and the Secretary General of the Djibouti Ministry of Health, Sareh Banoi Taouha.
