Project narrative

On August 24, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Mali hosted a farewell ceremony for 57 Malian students who were awarded Chinese Government Scholarships to study abroad at Chinese universities. Attending the ceremony were numerous dignitaries and officials from both China and Mali, including Chinese Ambassador to Mali - Zhu Liying, and Mali's Minister of Education Assétou Founè Samake Migan. The scholarship duration and amount for each student varies due to the program of study and the accepting institution.
