Description

On May 11, 2015, CGC Overseas Construction Co., Ltd. (CGCOC) signed a financing memorandum of understanding with the China Development Bank (CDB) Qinghai Branch to promote Ethiopian animal husbandry. The MoU included cooperation on the development of animal husbandry resources in Ethiopia, investigating livestock resources and investment in Ethiopia, planning and carrying out construction ideas for agriculture and animal husbandry processing industrial parks in Ethiopia, and providing financing for park construction and corporate investment for animal husbandry projects. The CGCOC signed this MoU along with two other MoUs with the Industrial Park Development Corporation of Ethiopia and the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries of Ethiopia in planning for the Livestock Agro-processing Industrial Park Project in Ethiopia. The current status of the project is unclear.
