Project narrative

On January 28, 2018, a handover ceremony of the expanded “Children’s Smile” orphanage, which was funded by the Chinese embassy, Chinese Enterprises Association, and the Federation of Overseas Chinese, was held in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The project included an expansion of the orphanage. The Chinese Enterprises Association also donated daily necessities to the orphanage. The value of the donation and when construction began are unknown.
