Project narrative

On April 26, 2012, Ambassador Cao Zhongming, Chairman of the Islamic High Council of Mali Dicko, and the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy Liu Qi attended the donation ceremony of humanitarian materials and funds to the northern region of Mali. The Chinese Embassy in Mali and Chinese-funded enterprises in Mali jointly raised 10 million Swiss francs (approximately US$20,000) and 5 tons of cane sugar, and distributed them to northern Mali refugees through the channel of the High Council of the Islamic High Council of Mali. This donation is in response to the serious humanitarian crisis facing the north of Mali. This project is completed.
