Project narrative

On November 26th, 2010, the Chinese government held a handover ceremony for the donation of medicines and medical equipment to the Chinese Medical Team of Madagascar at the Ministry of Health. The donation is valued at 1.28 million RMB. Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy to Madagascar, Zhou Mansheng, and Secretary General of the Malagasy Ministry of Health, Mr. Lakutumanga, attended the handover ceremony and signed the agreement. As part of a protocol signed by the two governments to send Chinese medical teams to Madagascar, the batch of medicines and medical equipment are distributed annually to the teams. These yearly package include the following projects: Chinese Government donates medicine and medical equipment to Madagascar in 2007 (#59703), in 2008 (#19694), in 2009 (#59711), and in 2016 (#59719).
