Description

In July 2018, China sent the 25th medical team to the Republic of Congo (援刚果(布)第25批医疗队). The team members come from 34 medical institutions in Tianjin city, involving 16 departments including internal, external, women, children, stomatology, ophthalmology. On July 24, the farewell ceremony for these members to go to Congo was held. On the same day, Ambassador Ma Fulin to the Congo (Brazzaville) and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mamina signed a new phase of the China-Government Medical Team Protocol, and the Minister of Health and Population Mikolo attended the ceremony. The Chinese medical team to Congo will be mainly working at the China-Congo Friendship Hospital in Brazzaville, the capital, and the Loandjili Hospital in Pointe Noire. The 25th medical team finished its service in August 2019, when the 26th Chinese medical team was sent to the Republic of Congo").
