Project narrative

In November 2013, the Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Xie Xiaoyan handed over a batch of teaching supplies donated by the Chinese Embassy to the Tenbite Ermias Primary Public School in Kolfe Keranyo Sub-city, Addis Ababa. These supplies included office supplies and teaching supplies such as computers, televisions and printers as well as schoolbags and soccer-balls. About more than 300 people, including the Administrator of Kolfe Keranyo Sub-city Meath Gano and other local government officials, Headmaster Michy Kiel, school staff and students, Chinese journalists stationed in Ethiopia and local media attended the handover ceremony on November 7, 2013.
