Description
According to a Malagasy Ministry of Finance and Budget document for 2018 finances, the Chinese Government granted 446 million MGA to the Malagasy Ministry of Public Health (MINSAN) to support the university hospital system. Further project information is currently unknown, including project status and what specific university or universities were funded. A Malagasy Budget Document for 2019 finances lists three loans committed-to by the Chinese Government for 300 million MGA in each of 2019 (see linked ProjectID#60030), 2020 (see linked ProjectID#89056), and 2021 (see linked ProjectID#89057) to the Government of Madagascar for the same project.
