Description
On October 9th, 2007, China donated 10 tons of rice and 5 tons of sugar to Mali in response to flood disasters that occurred from July to September of that year. The acceptance ceremony was at the Ministry of Internal Security and Civil Defense of Mali and was attended by Chinese Ambassador Zhang Guoqing and Malian Minister Sadio Kasama. causing disasters in many towns and villages.
