Project narrative

According to a FOCAC source, in March 2013, Tanzania and China announced an agreement for the construction of a US$300,000 Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Dar es Salaam. On December 15th of 2015, construction agreement was signed. Anhui Construction Engineering Group was responsible for the construction of the building, and the construction was started on 28 August 2016. The project was completed on 3 July 2018. Handover ceremony was held on October 9, 2019.
