Project narrative

On May 16th 2018, the inauguration ceremony of the China-Uganda Friendship Multimedia Classroom Project was held in Iganga, Uganda. The school is called Buwabe Primary School (伊甘加区中心小学). Chinese Ambassador Zheng Zhuqiang and Second Deputy PM, Minister for East African Affairs, Ali Kirunda Kivejinja, attended the ceremony. This donation comes as a part of a Chinese initiative to improve the quality and access to education available in Uganda.
