Description
According to the Government of Ethiopia’s Aid Management Platform (AMP), the Chinese Government provides a grant worth ETB 77,214,539 to the Government of Ethiopia for the Agriculture Vocational Education Team Project in 2012. The purpose of the project was for China’s Ministry of Agriculture to provide vocational education and training to students at the Ethiopian Agricultural College. The project was originally expected to commence on November 25, 2009, but it ultimately commenced on June 13, 2012. The grant was provided in four disbursements between 2012 and 2016: a ETB 9,824,955 disbursement on October 10, 2012, an ETB 7,658,002 disbursement on August 4, 2014, an ETB 3,068,829 disbursement on July 7, 2015, and an ETB 7,424,587 disbursement on July 1, 2016.
