Description

On October 30, 2004, ZTE Corporation and the University of Addis Ababa Institute of Technology signed a memorandum of cooperation worth 1 million BR. According to the memorandum, ZTE pledged to provide telecommunications network equipment to the University to help them establish a scientific research laboratory. After the completion of the laboratory, the two sides will jointly carry out experimental activities. At the same time, ZTE will provide relevant training to Ethiopia. It is unclear whether the equipment was ever delivered.
