Project narrative

On July 22, 2010, the Chinese Consulate in Juba held a reception for over 30 government officials who had received training in China. The officials came from Southern Sudan's Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Energy and Mines, and other government departments. The exact nature of the training and when it occurred is unknown. The beginning of the training is unclear.

Staff comments

The project took place in what would become South Sudan in 2011. However, this training project took place in 2010, before South Sudan received independence from Sudan. As a result, the recipient country is coded as Sudan.
