Project narrative

On December 12, 2011, the Chinese government signed a $2,322,413 grant to the Government of Madagascar for the Public Road Lighting Project. This project involved the installation of 600 solar street lights in Antananarivo, Tamatave and Mahanoro. The project commerced on October 21, 2013 and it was completed on February 4, 2014. The project handover certificate was signed by the Chinese Government and the Government of Madagascar on February 7, 2014.
