Project narrative

On March 25, 2010, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture sent 5 experts to Madagascar to host a seminar on the cultivation of hybrid rice strains. The rice can be grown more effectively than other strains, allowing farmers to produce more food. The Chinese government also donated 56 million tons of hybrid rice seeds to farmers in Madagascar (#60802)
