Description

From November 28-30, 2014, the second Chinese medical team in South Sudan held a clinic at the Eastern Equatoria State Hospital in Torit. The team treated over 1,000 patients and performed three operations. Chinese institutions such as Huawei, China Hydropower, Shandong Expressway, Fanhua, and AVIC International were reported to have assisted in organizing the clinic, but the exact nature of their assistance is unknown. The second Chinese medical team arrived in South Sudan in February 2014 (#60732).
