Project narrative

In August 2017, the Ethiopian News Agency reported that 1,100 Ethiopians were being offered short-term training programs in China and 359 Ethiopian students were offered to pursue higher education in China. Of the 359 students offered to study in China, 207 were offered scholarships for postgraduate study. Among the 359 scholarship recipients five are state ministers and the remaining are from federal and state offices, educational institutions and various industries.
