Project narrative

On December 8, 2017, Chinese medical experts met with Madagascar officials to discuss plague prevention and treatment. The expertise was intended to help prevent further outbreaks of the disease. The Chinese Government has provided help in preventing the plague in Madagascar in the past, sending donations to treat those affected by plague (projects #60996, #58725, #58729).
