Project narrative

On November 8, 2017, the Chinese government handed over a shipment of medical equipment including cleaning, sanitation, and disease prevention supplies to two Madagascar districts in order to fight a plague outbreak. This is one of several donations made in 2017 from China to Madagascar; the Chinese government also sent medical experts to consult on the treatment and containment of the plague (#60995) and provided additional assistance (projects #58725, #58729).
