Project narrative

According to a 2019 IMF report, the Chinese Government was expected to provide a CFA 90 billion concessional loan to the Government of Burkina Faso in 2019. The loan is for the "Project to reinforce drinking water supply systems in the cities of Pouytenga, Koupéla, Bogandé, Boulsa, and Zorgho drawing on the Bilanga dam, and in the cities of Tenkodogo, Garango, Bittou and Bagré drawing on the Bagré dam+B21.
