Description

On December 15, 2011, the Chinese Government provided a grant to the Government of Cambodia for the National Road No. 258D (NR 258D) Water Damage Road Rehabilitation Project. The project has a total length of 19.822km and a total contract value of 46.34 million yuan. The project started on December 15, 2011. On June 19, 2013, Pan Guangxue, the Chinese ambassador to Cambodia, and Lin Xidini, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia, signed the handover certificate for the “Kaisana” typhoon damaged road repair project in Phnom Penh, officially transferring the completed 258D road to Cambodia. The contractor is China Road & Bridge Corporation ("援柬台风损毁道路修复项目(NR.258D)项目隆重开工"). The road stretches 20 km from National Road no. 5 in Kob (Nimit) to O Beychoann (O Beichoan).
