Project narrative

On December 18, 2019, the Chinese Hunan Provincial Maternal Hospital donated equipment for the cervical cancer detection and treatment center in Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare in 2019. Zimbabwe's largest referral hospital partnered with China's Hunan Provincial Maternal Hospital to offer free cervical cancer screening and treatment to at least 1,700 Zimbabwean women. Women aged between 30 and 65 from throughout Zimbabwe will receive high-tech free cancer screening and treatment. The equipment, worth about 298,000 U.S. dollars, was handed over to Zimbabwe's Health Minister Obadiah Moyo by Wu Guiying, Vice Governor of central China's Hunan Province, at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in the capital Harare.
